Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF/FGF7) binds to FGFR2b and activates intracellular signaling. It is essential for differentiation and proliferation of epidermal cells and cells derived from the endoderm, such as alveolar epithelial cells, islet cells, and hepatocytes, from pluripotent stem cells. PG-012 exhibits agonistic activity similar to KGF, demonstrating equivalent efficacy to recombinant KGF. Exhibits equivalent ERK phosphorylation and proliferation activity to recombinant KGF at 1/3 the concentration.
